In a survey of 71 of the 250 largest industrial companies in Denmark, the three main reasons why companies worked with sustainability were:

The fact that many companies are now working on green conversion is good, but it is also because it has become a necessary business. You could say that if you do not work with green conversion in some form, then you may not be a company in 10 years, simply because customers are looking for sustainability and there will be more regulations in this area. Steen Hildebrandt, professor emeritus of Aarhus University, told Berlingske recently: It can cost the industrial companies the business if they introduce sustainable measures without linking them to the business strategy, otherwise they will never be a good business.
