Detailed knowledge of production allows medicinal customer to harvest low hanging fruit

Our customer who produces medicines for animals, saw an increasing need for real-time knowledge of their production.

What

They had an overview of the production, but the level of detail was not as high as desired and there was a concrete need to have detailed knowledge of the production immediately, instead of at month end+3 weeks.

At the same time, there was also a desire to move from a decision-making process based on gut feeling and towards the more data-based, so a summary of stoppages, real uptime, and start-up and down-close times was highly sought after.

How

Opticloud collects data from each machine line in production, and employees use Opticloud to enter stop causes.
